Amur Leopard also known as Far East leopard, Korean leopard and my favorite "Manchurian leopard". IUCN 's 2000 Red List of Threatened Species classifies the subspecies as Critically Endangered.

This species is extinct in Chinese and the Korean Peninsula.
The threats involves poaching, poaching of prey species (sika deer, Siberian roe deer, wild boar, musk deer, wapiti and other unguligrade) habitat loss and deforestation or exploitation of forests. The natural habitat is mainly threatened by forest fires and construction of new roads.
Due to extensive measures and efforts of conservationists, the population of #AmurLeopard has more than doubled in just seven years, which is a significant increase and we are still counting.
